Posten Logistik provides comprehensive logistics services and solutions in the Nordic countries and the Baltic region. We are part of the PostNord Group, one of the largest communications and logistics enterprises in the Nordic countries.
Our head office is located in Vantaa, and we employ approximately 300 people in Finland. We have 18 shipping depots in Finland, and one in Tallinn. Our 3PL Logistics Centres at Lahti, Turku and Vantaa have almost 75,000 m2 of storage area. Our turnover in Finland for 2010 was approximately EUR 68 million.
The group
Posten Logistik SCM Oy is part of the PostNord AB group which was created by the merging of the Danish Post Danmark A/S and Swedish Posten AB in 2009.
The Group offers flexible communications and logistics solutions to its customers in the Nordic countries. The net sales of PostNord AB in 2010 were approximately 42 billion Swedish crowns. Currently the staff within the Group number over 40,000.
The parent company of PostNord AB is a Swedish public company, co-owned by the state of Sweden (60%) and the state of Denmark (40%). The voting power of the public company is divided evenly between its owners.
PostNord AB operations consist of four different business areas: Breve Danmark (post office), Meddelande Sverige (post office), information logistics and logistics.
